ROOKIE DAYS

Camp Saginaw is thrilled for your child to join us for a Rookie Day! Experience a day as part of the Saginaw family. Selecting an overnight camp for your child is a big decision and seeing camp in action is a great way to help you make your choice.

Rookie Day is a great opportunity for prospective campers - entering 1st-5th grade - to get a taste of camp life at Saginaw. Campers will participate in an action-packed day of camp activities, eat lunch in our dining hall, and meet current Saginaw campers and staff. Activities may include aerial adventure, swimming, go-karts, arts & crafts, athletics, archery, or lake tubing. Campers will be placed in age appropriate groups as they experience all the fun of a Saginaw day.

After meeting the Rookie Day counselors and getting the campers off to activities, parents will take a walking tour of camp with directors Mike and Jessica Petkov. Parents will then have the option to participate in a Q&A session with Mike and Jessica following the tour, before heading out to enjoy lunch and some local attractions while their child finishes their Rookie Day.
